A sneak peak at sync : mirror
October 22nd, 2025, APOSSIBLE and movement artist Lisa Jamhoury invited NYC to playtest our upcoming Applied Experiment "sync : mirror"
sync : mirror is an interactive installation exploring the potential for human connection in networked, virtual space.
As collective attention increasingly turns to the human-AI relationship, sync : mirror re-visits a decades-long tradition in telematic performance examining how communications technology can extend human-to-human collaboration.
A preview of some of the participants reactions to the playtest:
"It felt good to see...how we might collapse and connect with each other through the screen/tech."
"First time 'beta testing' an art installation and I hope it's not my last! In many ways its the most deeply I've engaged with a piece in a long time, even if its still in flux..."
